72 Hours – The Oracle

What can you do in less than 72 hours? You could fly to Kathmandu and eat a Momo dumpling. You could get Scuba certification. You could watch all the 007 James Bond films and still have time to spare. Or… you could get yourself a copy of Marked for Death.

The doors are slowly closing and your window to be a part of this great game is shutting. We’re entering the final stretch of this Kickstarter and in honor of that I’m going to share with you some of what the creator of this game has said.

Q&A

What makes this project particularly special in your eyes?

“… With Marked for Death, I’ve effectively ripped out a lot of what makes Fate easy and replaced it with more challenging mechanics. It keeps the methods and simplicity of Fate, but turns things around to create a totally different feel when you’re playing the game…”

RPG.net

What separates this module from all the other FATE modules out there?

“FATE believes that the character is awesome, and that they can do anything they put their mind to. Marked for Death, simply, doesn’t…”

Check out the links to each full interview for more detail from the game’s creator. Sanchit will be joining us during the MCM Comicon in October to run a few sessions of this game so make plans to come see us!

If you’re a fan of FATE we’ve got another game you’re going to love. You may have heard me talk before about Defend the Planet. This game features some interesting tech like Bioroids and hovertanks as well as boasting alien invasions. They’ve just settled on an official title; Flames in Paradise. Sounds like a good time to me!

I’ll be keeping you up to date as we get further along with our second FATE game so stay tuned and I’ll see you next week!
