In the meantime:
If you are excited by the upcoming launch of Era: Survival’s 8th Anniversary Edition…
And if you want to be in the deep of a milestone tabletop RPG event and reap incredible rewards…
We have something VERY special for you.
We are curating an ELITE group of survivors who want to dive deeper into the world of Era: Survival and be at the heart of this exciting event.
But what does this all mean?
And why you’ll want to join our ELITE Survivor Club once you know what it’s about?
You see…
Over the years, we have created a sea of Era: Survival content.
It was the fourth game we ever released over 8 years ago.
(From the 16 or so titles we have today.)
It enjoyed a lot of community support and hosted many unforgettable sessions.
So naturally, for a game we created so much content and ran everywhere we could…
We built up many incredible stories and learned a LOT of practical things about the game – and survival horror in general.
From zombie hacking gore fests to breakdowns under the loom of death…
We’ve seen both the most beautiful and terrifying moments this genre has to offer.
During this time, we’ve figured out many tips, tricks and guidelines for the most intense, fun and immersive Era: Survival experiences – based on 8 years of running the game weekly.
None of which we ever told publicly.
But for the first time ever, in preparation for the Kickstarter launch of Era: Survival’s 8th Anniversary Edition…
We are excited to announce:
"Behind the Scenes (of) Madness"
An exclusive and enigmatic collection of behind-the-scenes moments that shaped Era: Survival into the insane horror it is today.
And how we took it to another level in our 8th Anniversary Edition.
This BTS collection includes our game and character design philosophy…
As well as moments from the writing of Era: Survival – and all efforts that go into creating a title like this.
It also has practical advice for the best survival horror experiences.
So if you’re interested in Era: Survival’s 8th Anniversary, you’ll really enjoy it.
You’ll be able to immerse yourself much deeper in the world and have more fun sessions.
And even if you’re not fully sold on Era: Survival, you’ll get plenty of awesome ideas to implement in your own games.
So when you join the ELITE Survivor Club today…
You will get access to our “Behind the Scenes (of) Madness” collection.
But it isn’t the only thing you are going to get when you join the Club!
In fact… why don’t we just show it to you?
So here's everything that you get when you join our ELITE Survivor Club:
Behind the Scenes (of) Madness
You’ll find out:
- How we came up with the most game-changing updates for the 8th Anniversary Edition-and how they can completely shift the game when the story needs it.
- The easiest way to keep players invested and engaged, even if they die. (Which happens. A lot.)
- The one change that instantly makes your games truly unique and how its rarely explored implications build the most intense survival horror atmospheres.
- A character creation idea that can make or break an entire campaign.
- The deep thought process behind our “reverse” Karma system that makes the game feel exactly like its world.
- Our solution to avoiding repetitive, predictable, and stale sessions.
- How we turned a usually “frustrating” mechanic into one of the most thrilling parts of Era: Survival’s 8th Anniversary Edition.
- What creating a 300+ page TTRPG actually looks like.
(Things you won’t believe!) - How the 13 factions came to life-and the wildest ways players have interacted with them.
- Our best tips and guidelines we’ve learned from running Era: Survival for 8 years.
- The time our twist on a usually neglected mechanic spawned a full-on cult around it!
- The best ways we’ve found to maximize player buy-in-and create that exciting survival horror thrill and atmosphere every session.
- How we consistently develop the unique design elements that make Era: Survival stand out on your shelf.
- And much, much more…
“Behind the Scenes (of) Madness” will be released in separate issues on every Sunday leading up to the Kickstarter launch.
Previously released issues will be available through an archive, so don’t worry if you missed the previous ones! You’ll still get everything.
