Hi everyone!
I’ve got loads for you today, so hang onto your hat!
Era: Lost Legend
You might have hears about Era: Lost Legend already. It’s a game inspired by JRPGs such as Final Fantasy. My aim when beginning the design of this game was to make something which would feel like these games but run on the ever-adaptable Era d10 Rule Set.
There’s still a lot of work to do, unsurprisingly, but I wanted to share with you that the artwork has begun for the game (see above for an example by the amazing Anna Belyaeva), and we’re running the very first playtest campaign to try out the new rules I’ve created.
It runs on the normal Era d10 Rule Set, with many familiar Attributes and Skills, but due to the nature of some of the characters, these are more different than ever before, which both Personal and Technical skills seeing large changes in their content! There’s also a massive change to the levelling system, which works on a tree basis, similar to Skyrim, Final Fantasy XIII and with a few influences from Final Fantasy X’s Sphere grid. This is a brand new way of building and levelling characters and I, personally, can’t wait to see how the playtesters react to it!
I’ve written a campaign which I think is going to be great fun, and I’ll provide you with more updates as I have them! I won’t give too many spoilers, though, as they will have the chance to change the nature of the world for ever by the end of it… if they can navigate the personal and situational events which I have in store!
Era: The Empowered
The Beta Readers have begun their work through the 300-page Core Rulebook, which I sent out to the six volunteers on Wednesday! So far, it seems there’s minimal feedback (which is always great!), and I’m on the edge of my seat, wondering what they think!
Keith is still working through the remaining artwork, and we’re making progress on that front also.
More Products to be Released!
Over the coming months, you’re going to see a lot of products released, both here in our store and on DriveThruRPG (http://www.drivethrurpg.com/browse/pub/8156/Shades-of-Vengeance). Not everything will be available in the latter location, so keep an eye out for what comes (we’ll do some announcements).
Just to give you a taster, we have all of the Wave 2 Expansions for Era: The Consortium, Audio projects by EraScapes, the Era: Lyres Deluxe Edition in Hardback, and loads of support material for Era: Survival, Era: Hitman and more!
I hope you enjoy what we’ve got – we’ve long prided ourselves on supporting all of our games after they come out, as we know there are fans of individual ones out there, as well as people who love everything we create!
Don’t forget that there’s also loads of material on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/SoV
That’s all for today!
If you have any questions, please let me know! I’ll be happy to help.
