Mobile App News! – The Oracle

It’s been some time since I was able to give you any details about our character creation app. Early on we went through some hoops to get a decent version started. Well, I’m happy to tell you that as of a few days ago Ed was delivered the very first promising prototype.

Whether it’s rulebooks, art, comics or even mobile apps, we want to deliver the absolute best product that we possibly can. We’re going to stand by each and every thing we develop which is why completion sometimes move slowly. We apologize for those delays but I know that in the end you’ll agree that it’s worth it.

I don’t have solid dates on the app completion yet but we’ve crossed the first major hurdle (getting a prototype which doesn’t make Ed cringe) so I’m crossing all fingers and toes that the project will pick up speed from here on out.

In rulebook news; our second run print copies should be arriving by the end of the month. We’ve got paperbacks, hardcovers and prints of Counting Down From One coming. I don’t have a clue where Ed is going to store them all! But here’s the catch, the only way you’re going to get your hands on one of these babies is if you come see us at a convention.

We’re planning to attend more events this summer and we’re trying to spread them out a bit so you folks who can’t get the time off to come to London will still get a chance to meet us. Who knows, we may just be coming to your hometown. So, keep watching here and I’ll let you know when and where we’re going to be so you can get your hands on some of this print copies. We’d love to see you!

That’s about it for me today. Work has begun on our first Era: The Consortium expansion set, The Secret War. Stories are being written and the initial pieces of artwork are being finalized. I’ve been given a little sneak peak at a few pieces and I can tell you that you’re going to love it. From what I’ve seen, things look dark and gritty. Just perfect for a Secret War.

Check out Thursday’s news post for an exhaustive discussion on the difference between our Secret War and Marvel’s Secret War. In short… they’re nothing alike except for that catchy title. I’ll be back next week with more details!

Until then!
