Which game mechanic inspires your play the most?
I’m really pleased with the Karma system from Era: Survival. Unlike the Alignment systems found in other games, this offers the chance to have good intentions but Evil Karma (and vice-versa)…
It works by the GM deciding the outcome of your actions, rather than the player deciding, so even the most evil action might have unintended good consequences on the wider population, meaning a shift to Good Karma!
I’m building an alternative to that in Era: Wonders with David Thorne, and I think you’ll like what we’ve come up with!
