The last two weekend days of the month! I know I said this just recently, but it’s flown by. I hope you’ve been enjoying what I’ve put out!
Name a game that had an impact on you in the last year.
Naming a single one is hard, as I’ve produced quite a few this year. I’ve finished Era: The Consortium, Era: The Empowered and Evil Overlord. I’m working on both Battlecruiser Alamo and Era: The Chosen, plus another card game project for October (ish).
I’m also working on quite a few things I expect to happen next year – Era: Wonders, Era: Lost Legend, Era: High Fantasy, more Era: The Consortium…
I think, out of all of that, I would have to say Era: The Chosen. I’ve worked with two great writers, one amazing artist and a universe which really pushed me out of my comfort zone in terms of game creation. I think that it’s going to be an amazing addition to the universe.
In case you’re wondering why I’m not mentioning Era: The Empowered, it was amazing to see the game I created in my head some years ago come to fruition, but it was more a case of building what I’d already created than something that really had an impact on me as a creator.
