Passing the artistic torch! – The Oracle

Throughout the production history of Era: The Consortium we’ve struggled to find artists who could create and maintain the high quality we demand for our games. I’ll be honest with you, that’s part of the reason why Ed started working with our independent creators. For an indie developer, it’s incredibly difficult to find quality artwork consistently and at a reasonable price. The artists we work with have been great and those that have worked with us successfully sometimes continue on to several other projects.

So, why am I telling you all this?

Our latest artist working on Era: The Consortium has had to leave us for other commitments. We’re sorry to see him go and we certainly wish him well in everything he does. But where does that leave us, you may ask?

For those of you who have been following our many other Era games, you’ll recognize the name Keith Draws. Keith is one of our hardest working artists and you can see his efforts displayed in Era: The Empowered as well as Era: Lyres. He will be taking over the artwork for the balance of the Secret War project. Ed tells me everything is looking good so far and he hopes to show us all something very soon. Personally, I can’t wait to see what he does with the Consortium.

Until next time!
