I’ve been writing comics for a little over a decade now and the sad truth is that not all projects make it to you, the fans and readers.

There can be lots of reasons:

• Sometimes, the stories aren’t intended to run more than 6 pages.
• Sometimes the idea can’t take priority over the other great stories I need to tell to move a universe forward.
• Sometimes things don’t work out with the artist.
  I’ve had a few suddenly stop contact, and I truly hope they are okay out there somewhere!

In short, while I am well-known for having a strong focus on finishing projects, it’s not always possible.

However, I tend to have materials that we have put together, whether it’s sketches, final colours for some of the pages.

As it’s now the 10th Anniversary of SoV Comics, I’ve decided to bring you a comic of those projects that didn’t quite make it.

This is unique “Offcuts” anthology of stories give you an idea of what “could have been” from SoV Comics.

They are all amazing stories, which I believe you’ll enjoy.

The genres are varied and broad, giving you something for everyone:

• Superheroes
• Science Fiction
• Noir Mystery
• Magic and Technology intertwined in a Final Fantasy-style world
• Post-Apocalypse
• Fantasy
• Comedy

If you like good stories told well, you will love Offcuts: even if not all of the stories have the ending I would have chosen, they are told in a compelling way with good artwork.
