I’ve been writing comics for a little over a decade now and the sad truth is that not all projects make it to you, the fans and readers.
There can be lots of reasons:
In short, while I am well-known for having a strong focus on finishing projects, it’s not always possible.
However, I tend to have materials that we have put together, whether it’s sketches, final colours for some of the pages.
As it’s now the 10th Anniversary of SoV Comics, I’ve decided to bring you a comic of those projects that didn’t quite make it.
This is unique “Offcuts” anthology of stories give you an idea of what “could have been” from SoV Comics.

They are all amazing stories, which I believe you’ll enjoy.
The genres are varied and broad, giving you something for everyone:
If you like good stories told well, you will love Offcuts: even if not all of the stories have the ending I would have chosen, they are told in a compelling way with good artwork.

A Titan’s Rise is the story of a cyberpunk future where corporations rule three solar systems, and a young man who is separated from his parents by the actions of the corporation-controlled Senate of the Consortium.
After a battle where he loses his arm, his life is destroyed. Can he become the person the Consortium needs him to be? Only time will tell…
Will I like A Titan’s Rise?
The universe that A Titan’s Rise explores is dark in places, and can be difficult to live in. However, the story is epic in scale, as we explore a universe with infinite possibilities, populated by realistic people with both flaws and goodness within them.
Dark truths lie at the heart of the Consortium, and no-one can grow up in this universe without being affected by them. In the end, the corporations always get what they want.
If you’re a fan of Aliens, Mass Effect, Star Trek, Star Wars, Firefly, or books such as the Dune series by Frank Herbert or Elizabeth Moon’s novels, you may enjoy A Titan’s Rise.
